Fright Night

Fall is finally here, and Halloween is right around the corner. It is this time of year when people start thinking about what to do to make the holiday fun. They try to decide whether they should go to haunted houses, haunted trails, or haunted mazes.
Haunted houses are amazing. The fear that a person feels walking into each room, wondering what will happen next and what will jump out is the best feeling. Everyone should go to one at least once in their life to experience the fear. The best haunted house I have been to is Fear Fair because it changes every year and it seems to get scarier. It is located near Freeman Field and is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until October 28. The cost is $15 per person. There are group discounts available on their website fearfair.com.
Haunted trails are also a great treat for a Halloween night. They are full of thrills and scares with monsters jumping out of the woods at every turn and people running around with chainsaws. There is a haunted trail in Markleville called Trails of Terror. It is six acres of wooded trails filled with frightful surprises. It is open every Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. until October 27. From October 28 through 31 it is open from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. It cost $13 per person.
Haunted corn mazes are a lot of fun too. Corn mazes cause chills. Just thinking about wandering around a maze, at night, with people waiting to jump out and grab someone gives me goose bumps. At Hanna Haunted Acres in Indianapolis, there is a haunted corn maze, a hayride, and four haunted houses. During October they are open from Sunday through Thursday from the time it gets dark to 10:00 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 12:00 a.m. On November 2 and 3 they close at 11:00 P.M. The cost for all six attractions is $27 per ticket. There are coupons on their website hannahauntedacres.com
Halloween brings so much to do in the month of October. It brings costumes, carved pumpkins, haunted houses, candy, hayrides, Halloween parties, house decorations, and much more.
